Giffard Drive Surgery, Farnborough is receiving support from NHS England via the Estates Technology and Transformation (ETTF) Fund to double the size of their surgery. This will create a primary care facility that can offer a significantly wider range of services for benefit to the surrounding locality. The project is now moving towards a planning application which would see a major new extension built on the adjoining plot of land, and a significant remodelling of the existing surgery building to improve the range of clinical services. Delivery of the project will occur in two distinct phases to allow for continued practice operations from the same site during the construction works.
